APPEAL FOR AID FOR EELAM TAMILS
The World Tamil Relief Fund, the Vivekananda Ashram and the Coalition of Indian Malaysian NGOs are jointly collection donations for the Eelam Tamils in the Sri Lankan concentration camps. They are in urgent need of food and medicine. Please donate canned food, rice, sugar, medicines and cash. The expiry date of food and medicines must be at least two months from June.

MI CLUB: BERITA HARIAN DD 26TH MAY
Where this "P.Muhantha" went when whole country protest for Gaza war? He should have made same comment. For Gaza, they protested everywhere, called for boycott US products. No action was taken on school/university student who marched in street infect given time out for them. Collections were going on everywhere, opened special counter in banks, collection through SMS. But, when we voiced for our own Tamil community in Eelam we are labeled as terrorist. Why such thing?

Can someone enlighten me who is this traitor aka Etappa ? Please read the BH today to get more detail.
In the same article a malay NGO man has called the home ministry to take action against the organiser. :- in the first place the gathering was held in a proper orderly manner - it was in fact a peaceful gathering ; IWAS THERE . so its a call very irresponsible of people with co called civic minded.
The gathering also saw both BN and Pakatan leaders coming together on a common issue.
we Malaysian Indians are also concerned and want peace and harmony in this country - our Motherland

Looking for Facilitators / Volunteers – Tamil Foundation
Tamil Foundation is looking for facilitators & Volunteers for their projects, which are conducted for Tamil Schools:
- State Level Science Fairs & National Level Science Fairs ( Facilitators to conduct experiments to the respective schools during visiting before the Science Fair and also to assist Tamil Foundation on the day of the event itself)
- Young Nature Campers ( YNC ) – (Outdoor 2 day–1 night Camp–Weekends Only)
- English Enrichment Programme (Volunteers to teach English–for Standard 1 kids)- every Saturday , 9am – 12 noon
- Young Scientific Discoverers (YSD) – This project is being conducted only in Klang right now with the HYO Volunteers. We would like to expand it to KL if we obtain good & enough facilitators.
- Sports Development Programme (SDP) - Hockey training for teachers last year & to have Hockey Tournament among the Tamil Schools in Selangor - Wilayah this year. We intend to have track tournament for the Tamil School this year but we are lack of resources - trainers - funding.
